HIGHER -  

  • Pfizer (PFE) and BioNTech (BNTX) up 1% and 9%, respectively, after the companies announced the initiation of a rolling submission to the European Medicines Agency for BNT162b2, the lead candidate from the companies' vaccine development program against COVID-19
  • Wingstop (WING) up 2% after reporting preliminary Q3 sales figures
  • Group 1 Automotive (GPI) up 8% after providing Q3 EPS guidance above consensus
  • Himax (HIMX) up 9% after reporting preliminary Q3 earnings above consensus 

LOWER -  

  • Axovant (AXGT) down 9% after six-month follow-up data from the second cohort of patients receiving a total dose of 1.4 x 107 TU of gene therapy in the SUNRISE-PD Phase 2 trial of AXO-Lenti-PD for the treatment of Parkinson's disease
  • Social Capital Hedosophia Holdings III (IPOC) down 11% after Clover Health Investments has entered into a definitive agreement to become publicly traded via a merger with the company
  • Sonos (SONO) and Logitech (LOGI) down 4% and 6%, respectively, after Bloomberg reported Apple (AAPL) is no longer selling headphones and wireless speakers from the companies as it prepares to launch its own new audio products
  • AXT Inc. (AXTI) down 5% after B. Riley Securities analyst Dave Kang downgraded shares to Neutral from Buy with an unchanged price target of $6.60
  • Iovance Biotherapeutics (IOVA) down 22% after announcing the company and the FDA have not been able to agree on the required potency assays to fully define its TIL therapy, which is required as part of a BLA submission for lifileucel
